Travel Force — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Travel Force ("the app", "we") helps you keep track of your passports, travel documents and trips, and
plan them with AI. This page explains what information the app handles, why, and who it is shared with.
Information you give us
- Account: your name and email address, from Sign in with Apple or Google.
- Passports and documents: the details you enter (such as number, expiry date, country) and any photos or files you attach.
- Trips: destinations, dates, flight details, itineraries, notes, packing lists, expenses and budgets, and companions you invite to a shared trip.
- Preferences: your citizenship, home city and travel preferences, used to tailor results.
- Messages to the AI: the questions you type to Trip Assistant and Ask Trippy.
Information collected automatically
- Location: only if you allow it, to show places near you and to search near you. Your coordinates are sent to map and place services to get results; we do not keep a history of where you have been.
- Crash and diagnostic data: to find and fix bugs.
- Subscription status: whether you have Travel Force Pro, handled with Apple and RevenueCat. We never see your payment card details.
How we use it
- To run the app: store your trips and documents, remind you before a passport or document expires, and sync across your devices.
- To provide AI features. Text you send to the AI, and photos you choose to scan (a document, a booking, a receipt), are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, only to produce the answer or extract the details you asked for.
- To show entry requirements, weather, news, exchange rates, places and photos.
- To limit usage fairly and prevent abuse (for example, free allowances are tied to a one-way hash of your email address, not the address itself).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We use these service providers to run the app:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, cloud functions, crash reporting).
- Anthropic (AI answers and document/receipt reading).
- Apple and RevenueCat (sign-in, purchases and subscriptions).
- Map and place data: OpenStreetMap services (Overpass, Nominatim), Wikipedia and Wikimedia, Foursquare and Google Places receive place names or coordinates when you search or browse places.
- Other data sources: Open-Meteo (weather), exchange-rate and news services, Unsplash (photos). They receive the destination or query, not your account details.
If you invite companions to a shared trip, they can see the itinerary, expenses and documents you choose to share in that trip.
Your choices
- You can edit or delete your passports, documents, trips and expenses in the app at any time.
- You can delete your account in the app. This removes the data stored under your account in our database.
- You can turn off location, camera, photo and notification access in your phone's Settings.
- You can cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings at any time.
Security and retention
Data is stored with Google Firebase and protected in transit. We keep your data for as long as your account exists, and remove it when you delete the account, except where we must keep something for legal reasons.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
